How to convert Images into Text | Image to document

Have you irritated typing anything from images, because you have to type the same looking at the image again and again??

Let me tell you my previous experience before I knew about it. Once, I thought of creating a site where I will share motivational thoughts of great personalities of the world. So, I started collecting images with the quotes from WhatsApp, SnapChat, facebook and Google but I knew that I can't use those images directly to my site because of the fear of copyright issue. This app not only export the text from image but also PDF files. Generally pdf file consist long text material that will take couple of minutes/hours but using Smart Lens you can export that within few seconds and make changes to make it unique.

Image to text conversion (Step by step guide)

This app name is Smart Lens which is available on play store at free. It's star rating is good and reviews are quite positive as well. It works on both mode online and offline. If you use it offline you may have to face less accuracy and less language support. To export Hindi, Urdu or Arabic text first set up language settings. After you installed it on your phone act on the following steps as mentioned :-

● Launch the app
● Capture the text image of anything like a book page or you can choose image from your Gallery by clicking the gallery option (in the bottom left hand side)
● Open a file as PHOTO or PDF
● Click on Tick icon (√)
(Processing will start. Click OK if any Pop-up appears.)
● Click All (in the bottom right hand side)

Note: If you want to export the text other than English you can use online mode for better result. Also change Language option that is Automatic by default.


Now you can see your text in a box which you can click on Copy icon if you want to paste it anywhere. You have access to make changes in the text. Just click on Edit icon and make the changes you wish. You can also save it by clicking on Save icon => Export text file => Rename (optional). Share icon also available if you want to share it with anyone. One more thing Translate icon, by which you can translate it into another language.
