How to add sub domain in Godaddy with Custom Domain name

Hello dear webmasters, today you are gonna learn a very important topic,"How to add Sub domain with Custom Domain name in Godaddy."

If you have purchased a custom domain name from any domain provider company like Godaddy/Hostgator/BigRock/BlueHost, then you have an opportunity to create another websites using sub domain. Let me explain it with an example. Let's say you purchased a domain name from Godaddy cbsenoteshindi.com
Now you can connect multiple websites with this custom domain name. Now create another website/blog at blogger or WordPress. Let's say you created another blog at blogger papers.blogspot.com, you can redirect it to papers.cbsenoteshindi.com
You can create multiple websites using a single custom domain name by just adding sub domains with the same. Here are some examples below:
class10.cbsenoteshindi.com
class12.cbsenoteshindi.com
videos.cbsenoteshindi.com
result.cbsenoteshindi.com
scholarship.cbsenoteshindi.com

Now the question remains here is, "How to set up sub domains with Custom Domain name?." Before you go through the process of adding sub domain, remember that you must have purchased a custom domain name.

Sub domain set up in Blogger/WordPress blog

First of all go to official website of the domain provider and log in to the dashboard. In my case, it's Godaddy. Follow the instructions as I mentioned below:
● Log in to your account on Godaddy or another domain provider website.
● Click on My products
● Choose a domain you purchased
● Click on DNS (DNS Management)
● Add a new CNAME Record
● Click ADD
● Choose CNAME in Type
● Type a sub domain in Host box
● Type ghs.google.com
● Choose Custom in TTL
● Type 600 in Seconds box
● Click on Save and Refresh the page
● Now go to Blogger/WordPress dashboard
● Click on Settings
● Click on Set up a third party URL for your blog
● Type a URL with sub domain like papers.cbsenoteshindi.com to connect with cbsenoteshindi.com
● Click on Save
Note: You won't be shown any error while saving this set up because your domain has already been connected with your blog/website.
Sometimes it takes a few minutes to work but in most cases it starts working instantly. After you successfully created a sub domain you can turn on HTTPS SSL certificate for your site but don't be quick to do it.
