How to Embed facebook Posts on blog or website?

When facebook rolled out facebook post embedding feature it was not available for everyone. But now it is available to everyone including you and me. Facebook posts that you embedded on your webpage display just like they do on your facebook page, including displaying images, videos, hashtags, and text content. Along with this, your site visitors can interact with the embedded posts. Visitors can:

=> Like or Share the post.
=> Like the Facebook Page (or follow the Facebook profile)
=> Visit the Facebook Page or Profile
=> Add a comment to the Post
=> View the Post’s comments and shares
=> Embed the post into their own site. (Tap the drop down next to the “Like Page” or “Follow” button to access the embed code.)
You can try out any of these features mentioned above on this embedded post.

Embed facebook post to blog/website:-

Embed facebook post on your blog or website

Before you embed a facebook post:Keep in mind only public posts from Facebook Profiles and Pages can be embedded to webpages. To check if the post is public, look at the small icon like a globe showing next to the post’s date at the top of the facebook post. If you see a globe icon, that means the post is public and you can embed it to your site.

Steps to embed facebook post to a webpage:

● Navigate to a facebook post that you want to embed in your site webpage.
● Tap on the arrow icon that locates in the top right corner of the facebook post. Then select “Embed Post” from the drop down menu that appears.
● You will see a pop-up box with an HTML code that is embed code. Copy the whole code carefully and paste it into your site template's or post's HTML code wherever you want it to be appeared.

Tips about embedded post:

▶ As I cleared above, only public posts can be embedded to webpages.
▶ If you embed someone's facebook post on your site and later the author deletes the post or changes it, the post will no longer appear on your site. In place of this embedded post will be a message saying, "it’s no longer available."
▶ The size of facebook post is not customizable, so you can't change it. Facebook post size remains the same as it’s shown on Facebook.
▶ If you embed a long post, it will be shown truncated on your web page. However, your site visitors can see full post by clicking on "see more".
▶ Videos in embedded posts can be played directly on your site.
▶ If you are feeling any issue embedding a post on your WordPress site, try adding the code right before you save/publish your post — before switching back to the “Visual” view in WordPress. When you switch to the Visual view it can mess up the embedded code.
▶ If you are currently logged into Facebook and using it as a Facebook PAGE (not your profile), you won’t see the embedded Facebook Posts. Instead, you’ll see a box with your Facebook profile picture. Simply click on “Switch” to switch to your Facebook profile and now you can see the embedded post.
