How to Remove my Android App from Google Play Store?

If you have uploaded an app on Google Play Store and now you want that to be deleted because of any reason. In my case, I had created an app which was a web application means I turned my website into an app but later I had to change the domain extension. My app was not working well anymore because that domain was expired.


Google doesn't allow to delete a published app from Play Store. However, you can unpublish your app and it will no longer appear in Play Store.

Note: You can't remove your app, if you don't have a Google developer account.

Steps to unpublish your app:

● Go to https://market.android.com/publish/Home, and login to your Google Play account.
● Tap on the application you want to remove.
● Tap on the Store Presence menu, and then click the “Pricing and Distribution” item.
● Click Unpublish.

That's it. Now, your app won't be appeared in Play Store. Wasn't it simple and easy to remove an app from Google Play store. If you make your app published on your friend's developer account, you will have to request him for the removal of your app.
